I've been meaning to test the wardancer stances though my initial instinct is they'll be stronger in their normal stance, rather than as a holding option. Unlike wardancers eternal guard will lose the front line eventually against most infantry, especially on higher difficulties. Eternal guard are no different, though for the price they hold fairly well. Spears tend to do poor damage against anything not large due to their low melee attack and low damage. 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.844 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai.
